Ex-minister predicts desolate future for U.S.-North Korea ties
TEHRAN – Former Defense
Minister Ahmad Vahidi has underlined the U.S. government’s dearth of commitment
to its international responsibilities and expressed pessimism about the future
of a recent reconciliation between Washington and Pyongyang.
“The United
States is the byword of non-commitment to all principled and international
principles,” Tasnim mentioned Vahidi as saying on Sunday.
“The U.S.
does not even act correctly (in dealing with) its European friends,” he said,
adding, “How the U.S. interrelates with Britain, Germany and France demonstrates
that Washington values nothing other than its interests.”
